Comparison of ultra-fine grain tungsten carbide bar drawing dies and ordinary tungsten carbide bar drawing dies

Tungsten carbide grade selection
1. YG6 (C: 94%, Co: 6%): high wear resistance, strength and toughness are good. Hardness of not less than 89.5HRC, drawing less than ¢ 20.00mm bore non-ferrous metal rod drawing dies.
2. YG8 (WC: 92%, Co: 8%): its toughness and shock resistance higher than YG6 , but the wear resistance and hardness worse than YG6, hardness is not less than 89HRC, suitable as bars, wire drawing dies.
3. YG10: strength is 2400MPa, the hardness is not less than 88.5HRA, for the production of drawn steel and non-ferrous metal rod drawing dies.
4. YG15: strength is 2800MPa, the hardness is not less than 87HRA, drawn steel bars used to make high shrinkage of the drawing die.
Because of tungsten carbide bar drawing dies has high abrasion resistance, excellent polishing performance, and processing the material adhesion and friction coefficient of small, corrosion resistance advantages, has been widely used to draw a variety of bars instead of steel dies.
